Remote Desktop No Client License Available Error 

If you’re trying to connect to a server or a client machine using Remote Desktop Connection and receive an error shown below, you can resolve the issue by deleting a registry folder called MSLicensing. Deleting the registry folder will not corrupt the server or the client machine. It will simply remove the grace period of the license.

To solve this problem:

  1. Log in directly to the server or the client workstationthat is causing the error and launch the registry from the run command by clicking on start and run or by pressing Windows key + Run on the keyboard. Once you see the input box, type msc.
  2. Once it is opened, navigate to the followinglocation:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\MSLICENSING
  1. Right click on MSLicensing folder and press deleteRegistry
  2. Reboot the server or the client machine

After following these steps, you should now be able to RDP to the server or the client machine without any errors.
